The most popular Christmas season ever is almost here! Christmas includes various TV specials, vacation films, and many other entertainment features. What better way to greet everyone’s favorite holidays than with Lifetime’s Christmas specials?

Lifetime’s “Miracle in Motor City” takes us through the life of Amber (played by Tia Mowry), who runs her church’s Christmas contest and promises a performance by Smokey Robinson right away. When their friends ask for help from Amber’s former beau Eddie (played by Mark Taylor), the duo reunite to convince the famous Smokey to grace the stage.

Let’s take a look at who is playing whom in the Lifetime movie

Tia Mowry as Amber

Both actress and producer, Tia Mowry-Hardrict is popularly known for her role as Tia Landry on “Sister, Sister,” with her twin sister, Tamera Mowry. After all, the sisters starred together in the Disney film “Twitches” and its sequel “Twitches Too”, in the comedy “Seventeen Again” and also the LaBelle sisters in the animated series “Detention”. They later appeared in the reality series “Tia & Tamera” (2011-2013).

Mowry and her sister Tamera formed a vocal group called Voices in the early 1990s. The group debuted in 1992 with their first single “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!” and reached number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In May 2012, Mowry published her first book, Oh, Baby: Pregnancy Stories and Advice from One Hot Mother to Another, about her pregnancy and her job as a mother.

Tia also appeared in “The Hot Chick”, “The Game”, the comedy “The Mistle-Tones”, the rom-com “Baggage Claim” and the drama “Indivisible”. She is of Bahamian descent and has both English and Irish paternal ancestry. Just like her twin sister, Tamera Mowry, Tia’s acting mentor was Jackee Harry.

Tia has been happily married to her 8-year-old boyfriend Cory Hardrict since 2008 and has two children together; a son named Cree Hardrict and a daughter named Cairo Hardrict.

Mark Taylor as Eddie
