Watch: Lions Coach’s Sideline Blowup Is Going Viral

A sideline blowup from a Detroit Lions assistant coach has the football world buzzing on social media this afternoon.

The Lions are currently trailing the 49ers, 38-17, early in the fourth quarter. San Francisco’s offense has dominated Detroit’s defense. Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown for 291 yards and one touchdown, while the 49ers have rushed for more than 100 yards and multiple scores.

It’s been a tough day for Detroit’s defense, as exemplified by this interaction between assistant coach Aubrey Pleasant and defensive back Jeffrey Okudah.

That’s the Lions defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator giving his team’s 2020 first round pick an absolute earful.

You have to respect the way Okudah handled it, though. He sat there and listened to what his coach was saying, even if it came in an emotional way.

Detroit and San Francisco are currently playing on local FOX stations.
