Watch: Insane Catch By Terry McLaurin Is Going Viral

It was a quiet first half for Washington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin, but the third-year star made his presence felt on the first drive of the third quarter.

After going catchless through two quarters, McLaurin hauled in three receptions for 48 yards on Washington’s opening march of the second half. The last of those three catches was downright spectacular.

McLaurin somehow made a sliding, over-the-shoulder catch with a defender bearing down on him. The play went for 37 yards and set up an 11-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Heinicke to tight end Logan Thomas.

Here’s a look at McLaurin’s outrageous grab.

A third-round pick out of Ohio State in 2019, McLaurin recorded 2,037 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on 145 catches through his first two seasons.

He was expected to be a major target for Ryan Fitzpatrick, WFT’s new quarterback, this season. However, Fitzpatrick was knocked out of today’s game in the first half with a hip issue.

It doesn’t seem like McLaurin has missed a beat though. WFT leads Los Angeles 16-13 in the third quarter.
