Sports Media World Reacts To Michael Irvin’s Debut

The Michael Irvin era on ESPN’s First Take is officially underway.

Irvin, the former Dallas Cowboys star, is one of several new co-hosts for ESPN’s morning debate show. The Pro Football Hall of Famer will be going up against Stephen A. Smith every Monday morning throughout the football season.

Tim Tebow will be the co-host on Fridays. During the middle of the week, ESPN will have a rotating crew of Paul Finebaum, Keyshawn Johnson, Mina Kimes, Kimberley A. Martin, Monica McNutt, Jessica Mendoza, Chiney Ogwumike, Dan Orlovsky, Kendrick Perkins, Marcus Spears, Brian Windhorst, Damien Woody and others.

Monday morning, Irvin made his official First Take debut. This is not the first time he’s appeared on the show, but it’s the start of a new era.

Unsurprisingly, Smith and Irvin have provided a lot of entertainment.

This is going to be pretty fun to watch throughout the football season, especially if the Dallas Cowboys are in contention.

ESPN’s First Take airs daily from 10 a.m. E.T. to 12 p.m. E.T.
