Texas A&M will likely enter the 2021 season ranked in the top 10, and many pundits view the Aggies as the second-best team behind Alabama in the SEC West.
SEC Network analyst Roman Harper is going one step further though. It’ a rather large step as well.
During SEC Media Days, Harper explained that he thinks Texas A&M will be favored in every game this season, including when the Aggies host Alabama on Oct. 9.
“They’re going to be favored in every game,” Harper said. “Up until Game 6 against Alabama, and I think they’ll still be favored then because it’s at home. I think Jimbo does a great job of understanding what wins in the SEC, and that’s great defense, a strong offensive line and running game, and a balanced attack offensively.”
Roman Harper says Texas A&M will be favored over Alabama!
Personally, I’ll take the Crimson Tide plus the points for my CFB Game of Year 100-star release!!! 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/g2zZVTImTL

Since Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans led A&M to an upset win in Tuscaloosa in 2012, Alabama has won its last eight meetings against the Aggies. Six of those wins have come by double-digits, with four being by more than 20 points.
For what it’s worth, according to the Action Network, Alabama is one of seven teams favored to win all 12 of its regular season games this fall. Texas A&M will be favored in 11 games — against every opponent by the Crimson Tide.
