The New Orleans Saints registered a huge victory on the field in Week 1, but it came with some costly losses on the roster.
In addition to cornerback Marshon Lattimore (thumb surgery) and defensive end Marcus Davenport (pectoral injury), center Erik McCoy is going to miss time with a calf injury, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
McCoy left Sunday’s 38-3 win over the Green Bay Packers in the first half and was replaced by Cesar Ruiz, who shifted over from guard. Second-year pro Calvin Throckmorton came in for Ruiz.
After a huge win Sunday, the #Saints are now looking rather banged up. C Erik McCoy is expected to miss some time with a calf strain, sources say. This in addition to injuries to DE Marcus Davenport and CB Marshon Lattimore.

Despite all the injuries, the Saints have a good chance to move to 2-0 on the season against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday. New Orleans is on the road in that matchup, but the early betting line has installed the Saints as a 3 1/2-point favorite.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
