Bryce Young hasn’t received much playing time yet at Alabama, but the five-star quarterback is already reaping the benefits of the latest NIL rules.
While speaking at the Texas HS Coaches Association convention on Tuesday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban revealed how much money Young is making because of his name, image and likeness. Well, sort of.
Saban said that Young could make somewhere in the seven-figure range just from all his NIL deals.
“Our QB has already approached ungodly numbers, and he hasn’t even played yet,” Saban said. “If I told you what it is … it’s almost seven-figures.”

Young signed with Ed Berry of CAA for NIL representation earlier this month. He then announced his first NIL deal on Twitter.
“Thrilled to sign my first partnership as a college athlete with Cash App ! Excited to team up with them this year! Lookout for some great content coming later this summer –go get your $cashtag.”

We’d imagine Young has other deals in place if he’s going to reach the seven-figure range that Saban was talking about at the Texas HS Coaches Association convention.
Young finished his freshman season at Alabama with 13 completions for 156 yards and a touchdown. He’s expected to take a huge leap this upcoming season.
If all goes well for Young, he could land even more NIL deals in the future.
