If a referee goes viral during a football, it’s usually because they made a terrible call. However, that wasn’t the case during last night’s game between North Dakota and Utah State.
College football fans couldn’t believe how strong the head official for that game looked. After all, he looked even bigger than former NFL referee Ed Hochuli.
Although this may seem like a silly reason for a referee to go viral, it seems like fans were having fun with this situation on social media.
“How is he not a strength & conditioning coach in the SEC,” one college football fan asked. Honestly, that’s a fair question after seeing this referee’s physique.
Several fans believe this particular referee is so jacked that college football coaches won’t dispute any questionable calls he makes on the field.
“I bet coaches won’t throw any challenge flags,” another fan tweeted.
Here’s a picture of the referee that went viral on Friday night:

As for the actual game between North Dakota and Utah State, the final score wasn’t really close due to a late surge from the Aggies.
Utah State quarterback Logan Bonner had a really sharp performance against North Dakota, completing 21-of-33 pass attempts for 390 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.
Unfortunately for Bonner, his strong performance was overshadowed by the referee’s biceps.
