Look: Ohio State Fans Are Searching 1 Name On Saturday

On Saturday afternoon, the Ohio State Buckeyes entered their contest against No. 12 Oregon as a heavy favorite.

Despite entering as the underdog, the Ducks dominated the first half of play and took a 14-7 lead into the locker room. So far in the second half, Oregon and Ohio State have traded touchdowns.

The Ducks took a 35-21 lead over the Buckeyes with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter to officially instill panic in the Ohio State fanbase. While the Ohio State offense has been solid, the defense has been a major question mark.

As Ohio State fans watched Oregon drive down the field for its fifth touchdown of the afternoon they all had the same though. Something to the tune of “we miss Jeff Hafley.”

A photo from social media shows fans looking for help in their former co-defensive coordinator.

Hafley, of course, left to take over at Boston College where he’s doing his best to turn around a program that has struggled.

However, without Hafley on the sideline – or in the booth – the Ohio State defense has struggled to stop the Ducks this afternoon. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, this seems to be a larger problem.

In the team’s win over Minnesota last weekend, Ohio State had a difficult time stopping the run.

So far this afternoon, Oregon has racked up 248 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
