Lee Corso spent the 2020 college football season working from home because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a big adjustment for the veteran analyst, but he still found ways to keep the fans entertained with his headgear picks.
Thankfully, it appears Corso will rejoin Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard in the booth this year.
On Tuesday, UCF head coach Gus Malzahn posted a photo of him and Corso. That’s a great sign that we’ll see Corso traveling around the country to visit college football’s best coaches, players and venues.
“Great to have the legendary Lee Corso stop by the office today,” Malzahn wrote. “Always enjoy talking a little football with him!”
That post from Malzahn put a smile on Herbstreit’s face, as he tweeted his reaction to seeing Corso on the road again.
“Uh oh,” Herbstreit said. “Look who’s back in person for the ’21 CFB season!!! Thanks for sending out Gus!”

Most of Herbstreit’s followers on Twitter agreed that it’ll be fun to see Corso covering college football in person once again.
“Corso putting on the headgear is the official starting gun to Saturday’s. Love that guy,” one of Herbstreit’s followers tweeted.
“Yeah, Coach is back. Can’t wait to see the whole team back together. It’s gonna be a great season,” another fan wrote.
Hopefully, the 2021 college football season goes on without many hiccups.
