Without a doubt, Georgia running back Zamir White and his teammates should be riding high after last night’s season-opening win over Clemson.
Georgia showed it intends to be a factor in the College Football Playoff race all season long, and perhaps has what it takes to run the table in the regular season. White, meanwhile, picked up where he left off after a strong 2020, rushing for 74 yards on 13 carries.
This afternoon, the man nicknamed “Zeus” sent a message to Clemson on Instagram, posting a picture of him running over Tigers defensive back Mario Goodrich with a taunting caption.
“If I wanted to play with kids I’ll have my own!” White wrote.
Ouch. Reading that has to sting a little for Clemson fans, and maybe even players as well.
As for Georgia, there’s a lot of season left, but the Bulldogs should be feeling supremely confident. The goal has to be to win the SEC, get to the playoff and (maybe) finally break the program’s national title drought.
