Look At What Someone Left On Ohio State’s Midfield Logo

The Oregon Ducks left the Ohio State Buckeyes a gift at their midfield logo following Saturday’s thriller.

Years ago, it was former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield who planted the Sooners’ flag at the OSU logo at midfield. This time around, it was the Ducks’ turn.

A small rubber duck was left at the middle of Ohio State’s midfield logo following Oregon’s massive upset win. We’re not sure whether it was left by someone within the Oregon football program or by a fan. Regardless, it’s pretty hilarious.

Take a look.

It’s not on Baker Mayfield’s celebration’s level, but it’s pretty great. Well done, Ducks.

Oregon was simply the better team on Saturday. Mario Cristobal’s offensive line won the battle of the trenches, paving the way for CJ Verdell, Travis Dye and Anthony Brown to rush for 269 yards and three scores. The Ducks averaged 7.1 yards per carry on the day.

Ohio State, meanwhile, has plenty of work to do. The Buckeyes now can’t afford a loss the rest of the way or they’ll see their College Football Playoff hopes die. The defense, in particular, has to improve. Oregon gashed Ohio State’s offensive line and fooled the linebackers on a consistent basis.

CJ Stroud continues to put up big numbers, but his inaccuracies and inability to be a threat in the running game are major issues. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Ryan Day opens up the Buckeyes’ quarterback battle following their stunning loss to the Ducks.
