Jim Harbaugh’s Quote About Michigan’s Offense Is Going Viral

There wasn’t much to complain about in Michigan’s big win over Washington in Ann Arbor last Saturday, but some fans weren’t pleased with Jim Harbaugh’s commitment to the running game.

The Wolverines controlled the Huskies at the line of scrimmage from start to finish. Running back Blake Corum had 171 yards rushing and three scores. Hassan Haskins also chipped in 155 yards rushing and a score. It was a dominant performance by Michigan’s rushing attack, which led the way to a 31-10 win over Washington.

Quarterback Cade McNamara, meanwhile, didn’t have to do much outside of handing the ball off. He completed seven of his 15 pass attempts for 44 yards. Regardless of outcome, some Michigan fans weren’t pleased with the Wolverines’ commitment to the run game.

Harbaugh isn’t listening to his critics, though. The Michigan head coach had an awesome comment on Monday regarding his offensive strategy last Saturday. He even mentioned George Patton and Neil Armstrong. No, we’re not kidding.

When Jim Harbaugh is saying things like this, you know college football is back.

The Wolverines were mightily impressive in the first two weeks of the 2021 season. They began with a dominant win over Western Michigan and followed it up with a blowout of Washington. Oh, and did we mention Ohio State lost? Things couldn’t be off to a better start in Ann Arbor.

For some reason though, fans questioned Harbaugh’s offensive strategy last Saturday. A win’s a win. There’s not much to complain about.
