ESPN Experts Release College Football Playoff Picks After Week 1

Week 1 of the 2021 college football season isn’t completely in the books, as Notre Dame-Florida State and Ole Miss-Louisville are still to be played. However, the majority of the country’s teams are now at least one game into their seasons.

ESPN’s panel of college football experts have updated their College Football Playoff picks following Week 1.

Here’s who ESPN’s experts have making the four-team College Football Playoff field following Week 1.

Andrea Adelson: 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. Ohio State, 4. Texas A&M
Kyle Bonagura: 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. Ohio State, 4. Oklahoma
Bill Connelly: 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. Cincinnati, 4. UCLA
Heather Dinich: 1. Alabama, 2. Ohio State, 3. Georgia, 4. Cincinnati
David M. Hale: 1. Georgia, 2. Alabama, 3. Ohio State, 4. Clemson
Chris Low: 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. Ohio State, 4. Texas A&M
Harry Lyles Jr.: 1. Alabama, 2. Ohio State, 3. Georgia, 4. Oklahoma

As you can see, Alabama is the No. 1 team in all but one expert’s field. Alabam and Georgia are the only teams in everyone’s field. Ohio State, meanwhile, is in 11 of 12 fields.
