ESPN Computer’s 10 Hardest College Football Schedules

The 2021 college football regular season continues to inch closer and closer. We’re a little more than a month removed from the start of the season. It can’t come soon enough.

In anticipation of the season, ESPN’s computer model, the Football Power Index, has updated its various rankings. Among the rankings: strength of schedule.

Which college football programs will play the hardest schedules in 2021?

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, here are the 10 hardest schedules in college football heading into the 2021 regular season:

  1. Arkansas
  2. Georgia Tech
  3. Auburn
  4. South Carolina
  5. Florida State
  6. LSU
  7. Alabama
  8. Texas
  9. Kansas
  10. Ole Miss

It’s a very SEC-heavy list, with Arkansas coming in at No. 1. The Razorbacks, who play in the SEC West division, have a pretty brutal slate this fall.

Here’s a look at the Razorbacks’ complete slate for this season:

  • vs. Rice
  • vs. Texas
  • vs. Georgia Southern
  • vs. Texas A&M
  • at Georgia
  • at Ole Miss
  • vs. Auburn
  • vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff
