Dak Prescott didn’t need much time to make a strong impression at training camp this year. On Thursday, Yahoo insider Charles Robinson informed the NFL world what he’s seen thus far from the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.
Last year, Prescott suffered a compound fracture to his right ankle in Week 5 that forced him to miss the rest of the season. He has worked extremely hard over the past few months though to make sure he can compete at camp.
It’s still too early to predict how Prescott will look in the Cowboys’ season opener in September, but Robinson said Prescott is moving so well that fans wouldn’t be able to tell that he was ever injured in the first place.
“On #Cowboys Prescott, not going to assess his passing as he gets back into a groove. But movement on that ankle looks good,” Robinson reported. “They’re rolling him out quite a bit. Looks like he never had an injury. That would be the first box I’d want to check. Does he look healthy from jump? Yes.”
This update from Robinson should be music to Cowboys fans’ ears.

Prescott is entering this year’s training camp with a ton of confidence. He believes this can be a “very special” season for the Cowboys.
If Prescott remains healthy for the entire 2021 season, Dallas will have a chance to make some noise. Before he went down with the ankle injury last season, Prescott was on pace to set career-high marks in almost every passing category.
