Bryce Young Is Already Off To A Great Start For Alabama

Replacing an NFL-caliber quarterback like Mac Jones shouldn’t be easy, but the Alabama Crimson Tide appear to be in great hands with Bryce Young.

Earlier this week, Bruce Feldman of The Athletic said no college quarterback will deal with more pressure this season than Young. At this moment, it’s nearly impossible to tell that Young is dealing with lofty expectations.

Young looks like a seasoned veteran against Miami this Saturday afternoon, completing four passes on the opening drive, which included a 37-yard strike to John Metchie III for a touchdown.

It was a beautiful play from Young, as he stepped up in the pocket to avoid Miami’s pass rush and made a nice throw on the move to Metchie.

Here’s the first touchdown of the game for the Crimson Tide:

Apparently, all it took was one drive for Young to impress NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller.

“Very early observation but I love how confident and poised Bryce Young is already,” Miller said. “Just smooth.”

Though we’re not even through the first half of the Alabama-Miami game, Young is already being labeled the Heisman Trophy winner by college football fans.

At this rate, Young is one more touchdown drive from setting the college football world on fire.
