Odell Beckham Jr. should be one of the top candidates to win the Comeback Player of the Year award this upcoming season. Despite suffering a torn ACL in October, the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver looked really good in his latest workout video.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry recently posted a video of Beckham catching passes from Baker Mayfield.
This doesn’t automatically mean that Beckham is at 100 percent, but the LSU product showed a lot of burst in his route and was more than willing to go up and high-point the football.
Beckham is an explosive wideout who relies on his athleticism to make contested catches. If he can’t make sharp cuts or go up and get the football, his production will take a hit. Thankfully, it looks like he’s getting closer to full strength each day.
Here’s the video of Beckham that should have Browns fans excited about the 2021 season:

Browns fans shouldn’t be too surprised to see Beckham making sharp cuts on the field. Last month, Baker Mayfield said he was impressed with the star wideout’s motions.
“He looks really great. After seeing him and run and talking to him, he feels comfortable and is still getting used to some of these cuts and motions,” Mayfield said. “You’re talking about seven months since the surgery, so it’s pretty impressive how quickly he’s come back.”
In seven games last season, Beckham had 23 receptions for 319 yards and three touchdowns. We’ll see if he can return to his All-Pro form this fall.
