Aaron Rodgers Confirms 2 Teams Were Real Trade Possibilities

Two teams were apparently real trade possibilities for Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason.

Rodgers’ name surfaced in trade rumors throughout the offseason. Green Bay ultimately held onto its star quarterback, who finally reported to training camp earlier this summer. He’s all-in for the 2021 season, but anything beyond that remains up in the air.

On Sunday, FOX aired an exclusive interview with Rodgers and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

During the interview, Rodgers confirmed that he believed he could get traded to the San Francisco 49ers or Denver Broncos this offseason.

A trade remains possible, too.

Rodgers is only committed for the 2021 season. It’s possible a trade will happen this offseason, as noted by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

For now, though, Rodgers remains on the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers will open the 2021 season on Sunday, Sept. 12 against the New Orleans Saints. The game will take place in Jacksonville, Florida due to Hurricane Ida.
