Man charged with murder in the disappearance of Bobbi-Anne McLeod.
A 24-year-old man was charged with the murder of Bobbi-Anne McLeod in Plymouth.
Cody Ackland, from the Southway neighborhood, is due to appear in Plymouth District Court on Friday.
Police said Ms. McLeod, 18’s family had been briefed and continued assistance from specialist officers.
Donna McLeod, the victim’s mother, thanked the Leigham Ward last night for doing everything possible to bring her daughter home.
Hundreds of people attended the vigil to put down candles and flowers in honor of the teenager.
Ms. McLeod went missing after leaving her Leigham home at around 6 p.m. on Saturday to catch a bus into town.
Her friends she was supposed to meet raised the alarm when she didn’t arrive.
After a three-day search, a body believed to be Ms. McLeod was found near Bovisand, South Hams – less than a 30-minute drive from her disappearance.
