TLC brings ‘I am Jazz’ back for a whole new season

Jazz Jennings from “I am Jazz” grew up with the glamorous camera life, be it as a model or an actor. After their most recent gender identification surgery, which we saw last season, Jazz has taken a step closer to feeling whole and whole in their own skin.

The reality show focuses on the life and family of Jazz Jennings, a transgender girl in her twenties. Because she was mentally busy last season, it led to binge eating, which led to severe weight gain. We are now seeing the new challenges and struggles she faces in order to fit in and be accepted for who she is. Here’s what you need to know before the season returns.

The 7th season of “I am Jazz” will premiere on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 on TLC.

The official synopsis reads: “Fourteen-year-old Jazz Jennings, co-author of the popular children’s book” I Am Jazz “, experiences the typical pressure of entering high school, only with one additional, unusual factor – she is transgender.”

Jazz Jennings, born and raised in Florida, USA, is an American YouTube personality, speaker, television personality and LGBT activist. Jennings is considered to be one of the youngest publicly recorded people to be identified as transgender.

Six years later, in 2013, she founded Purple Rainbow Tails, a company that creates and sells rubber mermaid tails, to raise funds for transgender children.

Jennings is best known for her work on Painting Leah, Bella Maddo and Denim. She also starred on the TLC TV show “I Am Jazz,” which was focused on her family life and grew up both as a teenager and transgender.
