What Does Tarek El Moussa’s Positive COVID-19 Test Mean for His Shows?

Production on “Flipping 101” has been halted after Tarek El Moussa became the latest celebrity to be diagnosed with COVID-19, according to TMZ.

His representative confirmed the news to People last week, revealing that he received a positive result after regular on-set testing. Since then, all tests have come back negative. “Tarek is following his doctors’ advice and will not be scheduled to return to filming until he tests negative and his quarantine is over,” his representative told the outlet. Despite receiving negative results, his fiancee, Heather Rae Young, is quarantining as well. “The couple has taken all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe,” his representative added. ”

His daughter Taylor and son Brayden have been sent to live with their grandparents as a precaution. El Moussa has two children with Christina Haack, his ex-wife. According to People, filming on Young’s show, “Selling Sunset,” and El Moussa’s show, “Flip or Flop,” with Haack, will be impacted as a result of their quarantine. It’s unclear whether this will affect the series’ release dates.

El Moussa and Young’s wedding is just weeks away. During a recent appearance on “Daily Pop,” he revealed that they plan to walk down the aisle in October.

The couple has had a couple of bridal showers and, most recently, a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in the run-up to their wedding.

“I’m ecstatic..” “Right now, we’re doing all of our fun activities,” the 34-year-old said to Us Weekly. “We assumed that Vegas would be extremely chaotic, and that traveling somewhere would be extremely chaotic..” So we decided to stay closer to home [in the Palm Springs area]. “Every single thing was perfect, from the 80’s theme pool party at the cabanas to the private dinner to the spa day, and even just our room was perfect,” El Moussa wrote on his Instagram account, celebrating the bash. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend and are fortunate to have close friends who we consider family. Definitely a weekend we’ll never forget, and if you’re thinking about throwing a joint bachelor and bachelorette party, DO IT.”

The couple met on July 4, 2019, and got engaged a year later.

The couple announced in August that they were canceling their previous wedding plans. “When we first started wedding planning, I noticed that she was super stressed out, even with the help of our wedding planner, and I could just tell something wasn’t right,” the HGTV star wrote on Instagram. “At that point, we had already decided on the wedding location and had sent out our save the dates, but it’s not official until it’s official, and I wanted to make sure Heather had a good time, so… we decided to switch things up.” ”

However, their new plans appear to be taking shape. Young gave fans a sneak peek on Instagram on September 8, posting a photo “in the exact place we’ll have our first dance as husband and wife.”
