Do you like the iconic Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake? Soon it will be an ice cream flavor, allowing people to try their holiday favorites in frozen form.
The new ice cream will be released exclusively at Wal-Mart on November 1st, just as people begin to immerse themselves in the holiday mood. People can buy a pint of ice cream for $ 2.50, but it will only be available for the duration of the supply.
One of Little Debbie’s most popular sweets, the Christmas tree cake consists of a tree-shaped yellowcake stuffed with cream. It is covered with red frosting and striped white frosting of green sprinkles. Called “Santa’s favorite sweets,” this cake has been around since 1985.
The ice cream is vanilla flavored and contains “a decadent golden cake mass”. Also, special red icing and green sprinkles swirl around the ice cream.
According to a statement from Wal-Mart to USA TODAY, this will be the first Little Debbie snack to turn into ice cream.
Christmas tree cakes are a big hit for little debbie fans, but they can be hard to find. Earlier this week, Little Debbie’s Twitter account delighted social media users, teasing that it was “just around the corner” to get a snack.
With the announcement of the new ice cream, Twitter users have made a fuss about the next release.
