(Reuters) – “Halloween Kill” actor Jamie Lee Curtis channeled her mother Janet Leigh’s iconic character “Psycho” at the movie’s costume party premiere in Hollywood this week.

Wearing the same button and belt light blue dress and blonde wig, Lee Curtis completed the look with a bloody shower curtain on one arm.

The actor is no stranger to the elaborate clothing that appeared as the Orc of the “Warcraft” premiere in 2016.

Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode in the latest version of the horror series and confronts her brutal knife-wielding enemy Michael Myers again.

“It’s a parable for many things,” Lee Curtis said when asked to explain the latest “Halloween” movie on Tuesday. “That’s exactly the story of our time. It’s about what people haven’t heard, it’s a little about false information, it’s a lot about anger and trauma, anger and trauma clashing.”

Lee Curtis invaded Hollywood by acting as a strode in the original version of “Halloween” in 1978. Since then, she has somehow returned for five more “Halloween” movies.

“I don’t understand why people love the horrors of fugitives, but they still gave me the whole creative life,” said Lee Curtis.

“I don’t try to psychoanalyze what it means. I know people like it and we want to deliver it, and it’s a show-off business It was like my long-standing great privilege in. “

“Halloween Kills” will be released on October 15th on both the theater and the universal streaming platform Peacock.
