San Antonio – According to San Antonio police, a man died and three others were injured after a drive-by shooting in the northeastern neighborhood.
The shooting took place Thursday around 8 pm at the 4000 block house on Sunrise Creek Drive.
According to SAPD spokesman Alicia Pruneda, police officers were dispatched for an ongoing shooting, and when they arrived, they found a 28-year-old man in the house who died of a gunshot wound.
According to police, another man, 25, was taken to a local hospital for an ammunition injury and is in serious condition. Two other women were also shot and taken to a local hospital. At this time, their status is unknown.
Witnesses told investigators that the shooting was a drive-by and the search for the suspect was still underway.
Mr Pruneda said police believed it was a targeted case and was contained. Several shell casings were found at the scene, and investigators are assessing property damage.
